Groove Family Music studio is now open across the street from Chatsworth Elementary School. Groove is a local haven for making and appreciating family music.
Groove’s award-winning Music for Aardvarks classes are offered every morning Monday through Saturday, including special sections for mixed ages, non-mobile babies and new walkers. Groove’s newest offering, MiniKeys, a game-based band class for 4-6 year olds, is offered mid-day and afternoons. Groove Family JAM and birthday parties fill the studio on Saturdays and vacation days. The Groove Band has performed at pre- schools, farmers markets and community celebrations throughout lower Westchester County. Groove is proud of its partnerships with local creatives that have resulted in a number of family-centric collaborations including: Piano Classes for ages 4-10 with Rhodes Piano Method Rock OM: Music + Yoga with Budding Buddhas Kids Yoga Infant/Child CPR with Doula Joyce Havinga-Droop Sing-A-Story with the Voracious Reader Soulful Parenting Circle with Sanctuary Guitar Jam with Westchester Acoustic Guitar Meet-Up “I am so grateful to the thousands of enthusiastic Groove families who have given us the honor and privilege of sharing music with their children,” Lesley J.
