A local favorite for many years,  Creative Corner offers nine month programs of study to include painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and much more. These programs include the following:

Art Pals 
Art Pals has been designed specifically for 2 and 3 year old children. This class introduces your child to basic art skills, and gives them opportunity to grow as young artists.

Mix it Up 
Mix it up has been designed for 5 to 7 year old children to strengthen their knowledge in art, and further develop art vocabulary and skills. Mixed Media

Mash Up
Mashup has been developed for 7 and up. This class begins the portfolio building stage of your child’s art education. 

Adult art classes (now on Tuesdays 12:00-1:30)
This class will teach you a unique balance of artistic technique, while discovering the freedom of your authentic self-expression.  If you are looking for an evening art class let us know!

Groove Family Music studio is now open across the street from Chatsworth Elementary School. Groove is a local haven for making and appreciating family music.

Groove’s award-winning Music for Aardvarks classes are offered every morning Monday through Saturday, including special sections for mixed ages, non-mobile babies and new walkers. Groove’s newest offering, MiniKeys, a game-based band class for 4-6 year olds, is offered mid-day and afternoons. Groove Family JAM and birthday parties fill the studio on Saturdays and vacation days. The Groove Band has performed at pre- schools, farmers markets and community celebrations throughout lower Westchester County.

Dear Incoming Kindergarten Parents:

We look forward to welcoming your family to the Mamaroneck School District this September. Below is important information about Kindergarten Registration, which kicks off on Monday, January 13th, as well as some information pertaining to the Dual Language English-Spanish Kindergarten program we are pleased to offer in our District.

Kindergarten Registration Takes Place Beginning Monday, January 13th
We invite you as parents of children entering Kindergarten in September, 2020 (students turning 5 by December 31, 2020), to begin the registration process starting Monday, January 13th. Please follow all directions that are clearly outlined on the Registration section of the Mamaroneck School District website and bring in all necessary documents in person to the Family Information Center, located at Mamaroneck High School, 1000 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY. (Enter through main entrance – large glass doors.) Please Note: Your child is not registered until all forms are completed and approved by District personnel.

Dual Language Kindergarten Program Info Sessions Tuesday, January 28 (in Spanish) and Wednesday, January 29 (in English)
Come learn more about the District’s K-5 Dual Language (English-Spanish) Program, housed at Mamaroneck Ave. School (MAS). Parent Info Sessions in Spanish on Tuesday, January 28: 9:15-10:15 am and 6:30-7:30 pm in English AND on Wednesday, January 29: 9:15-10:15 am and 6:30-7:30 pm in English at Mamaroneck Avenue School. It's that time of year when we are all shopping for those special people in our lives! If you can, please remember to shop locally. It truly means a lot to our community and the storefronts / restaurants keep our downtown vibrant! 

If we can take a pledge to shop locally for our holiday shopping, it means that it could possibly one less empty storefront at this time next year. We want to keep our storefronts open! It is worth the few extra dollars and stroll down the Main Street!
